New zine for the new year! Just a little handwritten project, with spelling mistakes,

crossed-out mistakes and doodles. Every so often I like to make a completely analog

intro zine. It's about 30 pages on 8.5x11 paper cut down to a cute size. If you'd like a

 yay! it's been a long haul but the second issue of Far Too Fat is here! If you don't already know FTF is a collaborative zine made by and for fat folks. This issue is themed around work. Wanna copy? drop us a line! $5 plus shipping!

During the #quaranzinefest "look mum!" zine distro will be offering free zines and shipping (within CAN/US) when you donate to one of the causes currently fundraising in its hometown Hamilton, Ontario.

1. Pick out up to 4 zines (list 2 alternatives, stock is limited) from our website, 
2. Donate from $5 up to $50 or more to one of the 3 causes listed below and 
3. Email fagpunk@gmail.com your choices and your shipping address and a screenshot of your donation.

QUARANZINE FEST 2020

Hey all!

The folks at isPRESS have come up with a great idea for us zinesters to still show off our work and spread our words during this confusing and isolating time. Fellow zinesters will be posting their work with the hashtag: #quaranzinefest on all the social media platforms for you to browse from the safety and comfort of yer own home. You will find most of Look Mum!'s stuff on instagram with a few cross posts on twitter. There will also be a special fundraiser for local Hamilton causes announced here on Saturday April 4th, so stay tuned.
isPRESS has also set up free online workshops and other zine related events for Sunday April 5th like a real live zinefair!

Hiatus

Gonna take small a break from tabling with "look mum!" in physical spaces. The distro is still around packed up in my attic so if you need a thing or two get a hold of me, and I can deliver either by hand or by post. Keep those zines alive!

Hey Hep Cats! "look mum!" will be at this years Zineposium and this year it will be held at the AGH!
July 7th 12pm till 5pm  it is a free event and a queer friendly and physically accessible space, see you there!

Anarchist Book Fair 2019!

You can find Look Mum! zine distro at the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair. This year like a few years before there will be two buildings that you can find bookfair venders CEDA (2515, rue Delisle) and across the park CCGV (2450 rue Workman). Look Mum! will be in CCGV this year on both days 10am till 5pm. CCGV is completely wheelchair accessible.

CanZine 2018!!!!

Great news, Look Mum! will be at another zine event here in Hamilton: The Hamilton Zineposium. Come visit us at the Spice Factory (121 Hughson st North) on July 8th 11am till 5pm. We will have our full distro available for your perusing. See ya there!

Montreal Anarchist Bookfair 2018

After skipping last year Look Mum! will be attending The Montreal Anarchist Bookfair. We have a few new zines, including 'On Being a Fucking Slut:A Femme Perspective on Surviving Rape & Getting Laid' and 'My Stripper Zine: how I made stripping work for me by Jade Polestar'

We will be there both days (May 26th & 27th) 10am till 5pm, see ya there!

Hey all!
Look Mum! is back in Hamilton and ready for action! Our second tabling date this year is Saturday, May 12th at the Hamilton Feminist Zine Fair. Come find us at the Central Hamilton Public Library on the 4th floor 10 am till 4pm, It's a free and accessible event.

NEW ZINES!

Look Mum! is happy to carry two new zines: Confessions and ANG PANGALAWANG PAGTATAPAT: The Second Confessions. Two newly written zines by notyourleo about conformity to western (white) beauty standards as a Filipino woman. Born and raised in the Philippines now living in a northern Ontario town,notyourleo gives us great perspective about how folks inside and outside of the Philippines (and Canada) perceive physical perfection in women.

summer is coming!

well spring has finally arrived! and I thought I'd up date you on whats going on with the distro. I will not be attending or tabling at the MTL anarchist bookfair for the first time in 6 years. It's time for some new adventures! so, I have applied to two different zine fairs this summer that I have never attended before. One in Hamilton and one in Toronto. I'll let you know more as I know more.
